Concrete Technology Innovators

Innovation.
Innovation is at the heart of all we do at Eifers. We believe in taking a considered approach combined with the latest in engineering methodologies and equipment.
Critical Works Simplified.
Eifers utilises the most effective time-critical concrete products to provide speed and quality for all projects.
We carry a range of the most advanced concrete and related products available on the market today, which includes polymer technology to attend to cracks in concrete slabs and we have a lightweight pumpable product that has inherent strength for those hard-to-reach cavities. We are renowned for our work in the time critical space using High Early Strength Concrete and we also have access to a new low carbon concrete.

Sustainability
At Eifers sustainability is not just a word, it is something that we have intertwined into our core offering. We have a number of innovative ways that enable us to ensure your next project is as sustainable as possible. There are a few things you can do to reduce the footprint and embodied emissions from a civil project.
Reclamation of Excavated Subgrade.
Eifers can repurpose excavated subgrade material on your project.
Material Processing.
Large materials greater than 26mm can be removed to achieve a class three grading curve of crushed rock. This classification ensures the material is suitable for reuse.
Innovative Reuse.
Instead of sending the reclaimed material to landfill, we can reuse it on your project (and others). Whether it’s topping up the crushed rock on perimeter roads or incorporating it into our Foam Bitumen Base (FBB), every bit is repurposed. FBB is similar to cement-treated crushed rock but uses a bitumen binder, making it a greener alternative.
Specalised Equipment.
Our Reclaimer is equipped with a specialised sizing screen to ensure that only materials smaller than 26mm are reused. This precision ensures the quality and consistency of our recycled materials.
Sustainable Practices at Eifers.
By using materials from one project to support another, we’re creating a sustainable, closed-loop system. This approach not only reduces waste but also minimises the environmental impact of our operations.
By implementing these practices, we’re reducing landfill waste and promoting a sustainable future. Our efforts contribute to our clients green initiatives and showcase how innovative construction practices can make a significant environmental impact.
Volumetrics
Eifers is redefining what's possible in civil construction with our fleet of state-of-the-art volumetric trucks. Perfect for projects in rural and remote locations, these trucks bring the concrete batch plant directly to you, ensuring fresh, high-quality concrete is mixed on-site, precisely when and where you need it.
Why We Use Volumetric Mobile Batch Trucks
Faster – saves so much time
More accuracy and control
Better mix- specific to the job
Better consistency
Continuous flow of fresh mixed concrete
Perfectly proportioned mix
No waste = less material loss
Allows us to work in more remote locations
Whether you’re managing a wind farm installation, or agricultural infrastructure projects, Eifers’ volumetric trucks are your solution for reducing time, cutting waste, and ensuring optimal results.
Embrace efficiency and innovation with Eifers, where we believe every site, no matter how remote, deserves the best in construction technology.
We have state of the art remote batching capabilities where precision meets flexibility directly on your site.
As one of Australia’s leading time critical civil concrete contractors with a fleet of 5 Volumetrics with multiple skilled operators, we have the unique position of being the chosen delivery partner for projects where engaging the right machines, methodology and manpower to execute major scale civil works is now part of our daily workflow.
Our team is highly skilled and this is evident through the outcomes of the multiple projects we have undertaken over the past few years as we have grown. Being viewed as a trusted partner of Fulton Hogan on the HESC Airport projects in Melbourne has enabled us to continue to provide excellent service, increase our throughput, team numbers as well as the size of our asset pool.
Volumetrics have helped to pivot our business, we are now known as the experts in Time Critical Concrete works utilising Volumetrics.
-
A Volumetric mixer is an onsite batching truck. These Volumetric trucks save multiple trips back to the batch plant, and make sure that the concrete poured is the exact mix the job requires.
A volumetric mixer precisely metres out cement, sand, stone and water onsite. No mixing whilst driving. No getting stuck in traffic while the mix in the back hardens and changes. Just a continuous flow of fresh-mixed, perfectly proportioned concrete.
Imagine the power to mix and manage your concrete on site Perfect mix for every pour
-
Our estimates are actual because our ordering process is accurate, this means we order what we need and not more than that.
Our Volumetric Mixers help us to waste less as the mix is pre-set and quantities are accurately added to the machine prior to leaving the yard.
-
Our fleet of Volumetric Trucks allow us to respond quickly, be agile in our approach and ensure that the project is completed with minimal disruption to the worksite. Because we mix out concrete as it is required to exact proportions, we negate the need to go back and forth to the batch plant. This means we have less truck trips, we burn less fuel, we are faster, and the mix is consistently the same thanks to the technology on board the Volumetric trucks.
-
The portable nature of the Volumetric trucks mean that the concrete required for the works is closer to the job site. This avoids the back and forth to the fixed batch plant and means that fresh concrete can literally be poured anywhere without the fear of the concrete going off on route.
These Volumetrics batch plants are ideal for working in remote and regional areas.
-
Our Volumetric trucks are kitted out with onboard computer systems that allow us to control and manage the aggregate, water and cement on board to perfect the exact right mix for the job in hand. Our BayLynx Volumetrics have a system called Batch Pro Connect that allows us to automatically set up our mixer.
-
At Eifers we believe that the term ‘sustainability’ is as much about the longevity of the business as much as it is about the impact that the business operations have on the planet.
This is why we manage our estimates and subsequent projects with precision, because we know that waste can come in the form of materials, time and effort and that all equates to cash flow.
-
Volumetrics keep our team safe. The mobile batch plant is kitted out with multiple safety features and because it has automatic mixing capabilities we have seen a huge decrease in human error which makes Eifers the safer option.
-
Because the concrete required for the job is all on board the Volumetrics this means we do not need to go back and forth between the fixed batch plant. This saves huge amounts of time.
-
Less waste, Less time on site and more accuracy all equate to a cost effective job.
-
Eifers are renowned as the experts in time critical civil works, so when time is tight and a project needs to be carried out overnight to avoid disruption Eifers have the machines, methodology and manpower to make this happen.
Typically, we use High Early Strength Concrete on time critical projects because the curing time is faster, and the concrete is 4 times as durable as Portland cement.
In 2024 we finished a year-long project on the Melbourne Airport that saw us replace 144 slabs of concrete on the taxiway and apron.
