Mobile Batching Capabilities: Revolutionising Remote and Regional Projects
Eifers deliver world class infrastructure projects across Australia - the whole of Australia, including the deepest, reddest and most remote corners of our sunburnt land.
Eifers’ mobile batching capabilities are a game-changer for remote and time-sensitive projects. Unlike traditional fixed batch plants, Eifers’ fleet of volumetric mixers allows them to deliver precise, high-quality concrete directly to the site. This innovative approach eliminates the need for multiple truck trips to and from a batch plant, reducing fuel consumption, carbon emissions, and project downtime.
On-Site Efficiency: Eifers’ volumetric trucks mix concrete on demand, ensuring the exact quantity and consistency required for each project. This minimises waste and ensures fresh, high-quality concrete is always available.
Agile Deployment: With the ability to respond quickly and adapt to project constraints, Eifers’ mobile batching solutions are ideal for remote locations and time-critical work.
Sustainability: By reducing truck trips and optimising material usage, Eifers significantly lowers the environmental impact of construction projects especially in remote locations.
To give you an example of some of the remote projects we have been involved with, our case studies detail the projects we have been involved with far and wide.

AMATA SA/NT ABORIGINAL CAMP- Central Australia
Eifers have the capability to handle remote batching and stabilisation works. In August 2024, Eifers completed a unique remote project in partnership with the Australian Defence Force in Amata, SA, for the Aboriginal Community Assistance Program. Amata is a remote community over 380 km from Alice Springs.
Our team delivered concrete using advanced equipment, mentored Army personnel in placement techniques, and helped construct six one-bedroom units for emergency services like doctors, police, and medical personnel. Our Volumetric fleet delivers fresh concrete fast—anywhere in Australia.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
Design, supply and placement of 32MPa concrete on remote site (Amata SA).
Mobilisation of onsite mobile batch plant including cement silo (50 tonnes of cement storage capacity), volumetric mixers and concrete pumps.
Source and supply of cement, sand and aggregate. This was done both locally and interstate.
Batching on site and placement of ready-mix concrete by concrete pump.
Manufacture stab sand on site using locally sourced sand.
The challenge was faced head on by the Eifers team, where supplying this volume of raw material to a remote community was not a problem, even though the access was via a dirt road.
Eifers were asked to provide remote mobilisation of multiple pieces of equipment across 2000 kms to Central Australia.
We provided volumetric batching of 650m3 concrete for a compressor slab near Moomba in extreme weather conditions.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Remote mobilisation of multiple equipment to Central Australia
Coordinating with client to ship bulk concrete material over 2000 kms
Site management
FIFO
Volumetric & batching of 650m³ fresh consistent concrete
Fresh consistent concrete in very remote and extreme weather conditions
These time critical works were completed inside a six-hour window.
Supply High Early Strength Concrete on site for 66 pole foundations.
The Rye Park Wind Farm is located to the north of Yass and east of Boorowa, New South Wales, on the edge of the Southern Tablelands and the South-West Slopes near the township of Rye Park.
Eifers were engaged by Stride Reinforcement to produce High Early Strength Concrete onsite for the transmission pole foundations at Zenviron’s Rye Park Wind Farm Project in NSW, Australia.
SCOPE OF WORKS
Utilising our Volumetric Batch Trucks, mobile cement silo and conveyor system, Eifers produced over 400m3 of fresh 32mpa structural concrete designed & certified by Adbri Limited.
This kind of work in remote and regional Australia is perfect for Eifers as they have the capability and equipment to manage these jobs using their fleet of volumetric batch trucks.
