PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Eifers™ were engaged by Cogri to repair the concrete slab atthe Kmart/ Toll warehouse in Truganina. The nature of therepair and its location meant that as this high traffic warehouseyard is in constant use this project needed to be managed in atime critical manner. The scope of works was to repair a slab situated in the middle of the yard, which if left would have created a variety of OHS issues for the client and the trucks utilising the space daily.

The project required Eifers™ to saw cut the old damaged concrete out to the correct size and depth, install tie bars at 300mm centres and ensure that reinforcement mesh was laid in position to support the concrete. Prior to the pour all pre inspections checks were carried out to the satisfaction of the site engineer.
