M41 Fitzroy Gardens Decommissioning

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

CPB Contractors engaged Eifers Civil for the abandonment scope of works for the M41 Merri Creek to MCG Water Main Renewal project where at completion of the new pipeline the existing M41will be abandoned/decommissioned and made safe.

Eifers Civil provided the following packages including the supply of all plant, labour, materials and equipment required to carry out the set up for decommissioning the existing M41 pipeline. Ourstructural Eco-fill grouting product was used for 360m3 @1200mm pipeline and with the use of pump feeder lines from end to end of the pipeline, the grout was able to be pumped form over400m away form the project site at the Fitzroy Gardens, Melbourne.
