Mitchell Shire Council, Seymour Resource Recovery Centre Access Road & Intersection

On behalf of Mitchell Shire Council, Eifers have recently commenced the construction of a new access road and infrastructure works adjacent to the proposed resource recovery centre in Hilldene. As part of the scope, Eifers will complete over 500 metres of sealed access road along with minor intersection works on Seymour-Tooborac Road. This will mainly consist of bulk earthwork excavation, subgrade preparation, construction of granular base pavements and asphalting. In addition, Eifers is installing approximately 70m of box culvert drainage with headwalls and will carry out public lighting works on behalf of Ausnet, completing the project with new line marking, road signage and landscaping. This project will overall provide better truck access for the resource recovery centre by encouraging and facilitating greater diversions of waste to landfill for the growing community in Seymour.
