Mernda Rail Extension Project

Eifers have been fortunate enough to be a part of the Mernda Rail Extension Project, undertaking works to widen Bridge Inn road.

Our scope of work included profiling the existing surface and subgrade before excavating, preparing the subgrade and inserting capping material, before placing Class 4 crushed rock. We also had to supply and install subsoil drainage and backfill any trenches. The project required FRP kerbing as well as a pram and wheelchair ramps and the construction of road islands on both the North and South ends of Bridge Inn Road.
