APAM Overflow Carpark Stages 1 & 2 & Security Fence

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

APAM were faced with the dilemma of not having enough car park spaces for travellers in the peak travel periods and the issue was further compounded by construction activities around T4 overpass reducing the capacity of the existing permanent parking areas. Eifers were engaged to design and construct a temporary overflow carpark (total area of around 30,000m2) off Francis Briggs Rd which could be used for parking of travellers vehicles during peak periods as well as the provision for a bus shelter and hardstand area where passengers could be picked up and taken to the terminals.
