Sydney Road Emergency Pavement Repairs

Sydney Road Coburg is one of Melbourne’s busiest arterial roads leading into the city. To minimise traffic congestion and provide repairs to the damaged paving, we began with the saw cutting and demolition of existing impaired pavement and subgrade.

Once the excavation was completed, a geofabric matting was installed to prevent any subgrade water from emerging. We produced and pumped over 100 cubic meters of concrete on site. Following the seven days of curing, a 50mm asphalt wear course was laid. The road was successfully reopened shortly after the line marking, removing traffic build-up in the area. Our work was completed both quickly and within budget.
